"That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not that the task itself has become easier, but that our ability to perform it has improved" - Ralph Waldo Emerson
Good Job this week you guys! There were a lot of great things that came out of Davis Invitational. Our team has great character and I love to watch you guys run. I love to see how hard you work not only for your individual success but for that of the team as well. Remember that greatness and success doesn't always come every time you run. Every person no matter what they do has set backs or at times will not preform their best. Vince Lombardi defined greatness, success and persistence perfectly to me, he said: "It's not whether you get knocked down; it's whether you get up". Ask yourself, are you the type of person who stays down or gets back up?
Always get something out of your race. Ask yourself what did I do well? What could I have done better? How can I be better now than I was last week?
