Davis Super Meet Day 1

Day one at the Davis super meet went well! Everyone preformed great and a lot of personal best were set. We were proud of the effort and hard work.

McKayla Morgan ran a 11:44, 3200 m taking second overall and missed the state qualifying mark by only 6 seconds. The race for her went well. She ran within her self and was able to finish very strong. She sat in 4th for most of the race and the last 3 laps made up time and passed two Davis high girls and beat them by considerable deficit.

Kaitlyn Whalin also had a very good day running a 14 second faster then here pervious personal best in the 1600!! She seemed like she was passing girls the whole race.

Erin McMillin also ran a personal best in the 1600. She ran in the fast heat against some pretty tough completion. They started out at blistering pace and Erin stuck to them. As a freshman this kind of race can be very intimidating but Erin ran her heart out and found that she can run with the big dogs!

Overal the meet was great. Riverton high school distance squad rocks. Great job!!!

DAVIS SUPER MEET

Hey Runners,

As you know it is our first meet of the season. This is one of the most exciting and nerve racking races of the year. This is the meet where you get to see how all your hard work has paid off. Good Luck Everyone!!!!!!

Just a reminder that the bus leaves at 1:15 PM from Riverton high don't be late. School Check out will be at 1:00 PM.

It is time. You are all ready for this. We will leave the school at 2:00 on Friday. The race schedule will go as follows:

3:30 JV Girls

4:00 JV Boys

4:30 Varsity Girls

5:00 Varsity Boys

For parents, and other spectators, we will be at the Cottonwood Complex. The easiest way to get there from Riverton is to take I-15 to the 4500 S. exit. Go east on 4500 S. to 1300 E. Turn north onto 1300 E. You will see the parking lot on the west side of the road.
